I explore the combination of natural yarns and earth pigments to create work that is rooted in locality and repurposing waste. With a passion for handmade processes, my practice combines weaving and natural dyeing to create framed artworks that explore the connection between materials, process, and place.

The consideration of sourcing methods, natural processes, and material types is central to my practice. I work primarily with collected earth pigments, experimenting with dyeing techniques using materials such as sandstone, red chalk, and rusted nails.
Where possible, I source my materials locally with a regional focus, whether that is red clay from Safi or Horn Wool from Norfolk. The collaboration between supplier and maker is essential to my practice, as I aim to develop a two-sided relationship that celebrates traceable and ethically produced natural materials.
I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2023, with a two-year MA specialising in woven design. My first year RCA project ‘Overlooked’ developed natural dyeing techniques using unlikely waste materials. The woven experimentations, which were dyed with old horseshoes, rusted iron, and copper patina won the PriestmanGoode live project and were shown as part of CMF focused exhibitions for New Designers and Clerkenwell Design Week.

I am open to commissions, collaborations and welcome any inquires to discuss my work or bespoke projects.
